Mattapan man wanted on charges he beat up ex-girlfriend, kidnapped their six-month-old son

Boston Police charge that when Juan Garcia's ex showed up at his apartment last night to pick up their six-month old son, Garcia refused to hand the infant over and instead punched and kicked her, threatened to kill her, then grabbed the baby and sped away.

Police say the woman wound up in Carney Hospital with facial injuries, the baby was eventually turned over to them but that Garcia remains on the lam - and facing charges of aggravated assault and battery, threats to kill, custodial kidnapping and child endangerment.
