Police: Man chats up women in Egleston Square, then rapes them

Boston Police report a man led a woman from Egleston Square to a vacant lot at 2900 Washington St. Saturday morning and raped her. The same thing happened to another woman this morning, police say.

Police say in the first incident, around 11:30 a.m., the man approached his victim and got her to talking:

The victim stated the suspect led her to an abandoned property in the area of 2900 Washington Street where she said the suspect sexually assaulted her and then fled the area.

The same thing happened around 7:50 a.m. today, police say:

Officers spoke to the victim who stated she met the suspect earlier in the week and they agreed to meet him at local establishment later in the week. On Sunday, the suspect and the victim met on Washington Street. Similar to the incident reported a day earlier, the suspect led the victim to an abandoned property in the area of 2900 Washington Street where she was sexually assaulted by the suspect.

In the first case, the victim described her attacker as black, in his 30s, 5'7" to 5'9", about 150 to 200 lbs, wearing a darkknit winter watchman’s style cap, a blue jacket with a green-colored under collar, light colored pants, dark colored sneakers with a white tip and side stripe.

In the second case, the victim said her attacker was black, in his 30s, clean shaven, 5'0" to 5'10" with a husky build, wearing a blue winter hat, blue winter jacket, dark colored pants and possibly black boots.
