Police say man who isn't very good at robbing banks arrested after failed Dudley Square robbery

Boston Police report arresting a man on charges he tried to rob a Citizens Bank branch in Dudley Square today - six years after he was arrested for robbing a Citizens Bank branch downtown.

Police say Marco Willis, 40, walked into the branch at 2343 Washington St. around 11:40 a.m. Police say he approached a teller with a deposit slip with "NO DYE PACK" written on it and held up to his chest:

The manager reported to officers she realized the male was attempting to rob the bank and stated to him "Hold on a minute I just have to give this to another teller." When the manager walked away from the male suspect, he replied "I'll take that, Ma'am ma'am, come on, come on." The manager further stated as she activated the alarm the suspect turned and walked out of the bank with no currency.

Around 2:15 p.m., an officer doing traffic enforcement on Shawmut Avenue noticed a guy who matched the description of the person who tried to rob the bank. He was identified and then arrested, police say.
