Roslindale mother charged with murder

Angela Vasquez faces two counts of murder for the deaths of her children Dennis Burgos, Jr., 10, and Yasmine Burgos, 12, on Sunday, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office says.

Vaszquez remains hospitalized with stab wounds and will likely be arraigned in her hospital room tomorrow. Officials have not yet said how the children died, except that they were not stabbed to death. However, the Roslindale Transcript reports they were poisoned and beaten.
