Live Boston reports two men were shot near the intersection of Roxbury and Washington streets in Nubian Square around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Both were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries but are expected to survive.

Live Boston reports four people were shot on Warren Street in Nubian Square around 11:10 p.m. on Wednesday. One man was shot in the chest, another in the leg. Another victim got himself to a local trauma center rather than wait around.

The Boston Licensing Board today approved plans for a hamburger joint that celebriBrit Gordon Ramsay wants to open in the new hotel at Haymarket with a liquor license he's buying from the heirs of Aga's Highland Tap in Nubian Square, as well as plans for a Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville that will replace the old McCormick & Schmick in Faneuil Hall Marketplace with exactly what you'd expect. Some of the roughly 17 minority- and women- owned businesses that now share space in the rickety old building at 1127 Harrison Ave. that a developer wants to put 94 small "co-living" units atop are asking the city to block the project unless the company rescinds the eviction notices it sent to some of the businesses. The City Council will consider a proposal to seek permission from the state legislature to give Boston four new liquor licenses that would be restricted to use in the Bolling Building in Nubian Square, as a way to help stimulate economic activity there and help ease the historic disparity between wealthy Boston Proper areas and the city's Black and Brown neighborhoods when it comes to liquor licenses. The Zoning Board of Appeal today approved a proposed 24-unit apartment building next to Hibernian Hall on Dudley Street that now features three three-bedroom units, several months after it rejected the proposal for lack of any family apartments. Read more.
