Boston Police report homicide detectives "located what appears to be additional human remains" at 838 East Broadway in South Boston, where the body of a fetus or young infant was found in a freezer yesterday. WCVB reports it might be another fetus or infant.

Live Boston reports on the discovery around 2 p.m. in the freezer of an apartment at 838 East Broadway in South Boston. The remains were taken to the medical examiner to determine the cause of death and age.

The Boston Licensing Board today ordered a one-day suspension for Red Line Pizza, 582 Dorchester Ave. in South Boston, after licensing cops found it open past its closing time on Sept. 3, the third such violation to come before the board over a three-month period. Read more.

The Zoning Board of Appeal today rejected a request by the owner of a third-floor condo at 8 Peters St. in South Boston to expand the size of the deck atop his triple decker from 85 to roughly 150 square feet after the two city councilors who live in South Boston said they are unalterably opposed to new or expanded roof decks as menaces to the neighborhood. A Dorchester man was released on personal recognizance - but ordered to attend AA meetings - at his arraignment today on a variety of charges for an incident in South Boston early Saturday in which he allegedly stole a car, fell into a drunken stupor at a traffic light, accelerated when two Boston cops woke him up, then offered them $10,000 to let him go, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Tykarie Challenger, 18, was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing for allegedly putting a knife to a woman's neck and punching her in the head during a robbery after following her for more than a block from a South Boston liquor store on Oct. 4, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. A West Broadway condo association has sued the developers who put up their building and a man who lives down the street but who has a deed to one of its parking spaces, saying the developers sold him the space after they had already given up control of the building. Read more.

A trio of developers have filed plans for a seven-story life-sciences R&D building at 22 Drydock Ave. in the Raymond Flynn Marine Park that will include space for the Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute, which does life-sciences research focused on ocean life, and which plans to use its space for entry-level life-sciences training for BPS students. Boston Police report arresting Felix Antonio Palmer, 36, on charges he raped a woman at D and West 5th streets around 5:40 a.m. on Sept. 23.

In addition to rape, he is also charged with indecent assault and battery and assault and battery, police say.

Boston Police have released photos of a man they say sexually attacked somebody at D and West 5th streets in South Boston around 5:40 a.m. on Sept. 23.

WCVB reports on our decaying infrastructure, specifically, a pole that gave way and smashed into a woman's head this afternoon. A 311 report claims the pole was rusted at the bottom.
