Naje Duchard, 19, of Roxbury, was arraigned today on charges he was one of three gunmen who ambushed a man talking to a relative on Waumbeck Street at Crawford Street around 1:30 a.m. on July 21, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

WBZ reports a man was shot around 1:30 a.m. on Waumbeck Street at Crawford Street. A BPD officer on patrol saw three men jump into a car - which he followed to Codman Park, where they got out and ran. He shot at them, but did not hit them, WBZ reports, adding the victim was taken away in critical condition.
