A Mattapan woman was ordered held when she couldn't come up with $5,000 for bail on her arraignment Tuesday on charges she first rammed her allegedly errant boyfriend with her car, then got out and stabbed him with a pink folding knife, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. A man was stabbed in the stomach shortly before 9:30 p.m. and then run over on Manchester Street, between Temple and Cedar streets.
Victim identified as Alexander Allen, a supervisor with Boston Public Works.
Around 11:15 p.m. on Manchester Street at Cedar Street. Boston Police report the victim, 55, was shot repeatedly inside 201 Manchester St. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
He is Boston's 34th murder victim in 2018; the fourth in Mattapan.
