Jabari Bird admitted to sufficient facts to find him guilty today at a hearing on the criminal complaint that charged him with strangulation or suffocation, kidnapping, assault and battery on a household member, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, threats to commit a crime, and witness intimidation, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
Brighton Municipal Court Judge David T. Donnelly postponed a formal ruling on his guilty to await a recommendation from probation officers on a suitable punishment for Bird, at the time of the September incident a guard for the Celtics.
