In response to a citizen complaint yesterday about an unshoveled sidewalk outside the Kerry/Heinz homestead on Beacon Hill, the city said today:

Case Closed. TICKET: Ticket Issued.

Channel 5 reports the coyote was shot when it tried to escape down an alley this morning. Boston Police tweet it was state environmental police who shot the canine, not them.

OK, so real-estate brokers trying to turn East Boston into EaBo should be, if not shot, at least run out of town. Charles Swift notes that Louisburg Square, today the deluxiest of deluxe Beacon Hill addresses, was once known as Mount Whoredom.
