WBZ reports the snor'easter washed zillions of clams up onto Revere Beach, providing an all-you-can-eat buffet for area gulls. The station cautions the clams are not good eatin' for people, though - they might be contaminated.

State Police report a 17-year-old from East Boston was stabbed in a fight between two groups of youths at Eliot Circle at the southern end of Revere Beach around 7:45 p.m.

State Police say he was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in critical condition.

Matt Frank watched crews today putting down traffic barrels up and down Revere Beach Boulevard to keep people from parking there, then stuck around for some people watching (at a proper social distance, with a zoom lens, of course).

Just not enough social distancing going on, so the city "encouraged" Kelly's and other eateries along Revere Beach Boulevard to stop doing takeout and all agreed, the city reports.

Also, Mayor Brian Arrigo slowly drove along the beach with a bullhorn, yelling at people to keep their distance. The city reported 83 Covid-19 cases as of today, up from just 8 at the beginning of the week.

The Revere Journal reports the city Conservation Commission has banned animal burials on the beach. No, there hasn't been a rush by residents to say farewell to their pets by the water; the commission was reacting to the way the state buried a 25-foot-long, decomposing humpback whale under the sand last fall. City officials say next time, the state had just better find another way to dispose of large decomposing carcasses.
