Stanley Staco reports a guy in an SUV tried running over a BPD officer on Wachusett Street and Eldridge Road in Jamaica Plain around 8 p.m. and the officer shot the SUV, cracking its windshield, but without stopping the vehicle. Live Boston reports police found the vehicle about a half mile away on Weld Hill Street, but that the driver is still missing. The officer was uninjured.
Boston firefighters responded to a two-family house on Wachusett Street between Eldridge Road and Rodman Street around 8:25 a.m. for a fire that began in the rear.
The Boston Fire Department reports three residents were displaced and estimated damage at $500,000.
A disgusted citizen filed a 311 complaint this morning about these three cones on Wachusett Street in Jamaica Plain, which don't even do the courtesy of holding a space that was back-breakingly shoveled out.
