A little kid crossing Centre Street at Bellevue Street was hit by a car driver who apparently ran a red light there, around 3:25 p.m., according to witnesses - although the driver says he thinks he had a green light. Read more.
A man in a car on Bellevue Street in Dorchester was shot in the foot tonight. He got out of the car and some friends then drove him in another car to a local emergency room around 10:30 p.m.
Update: Victim identified as Paul Richards, 56.
Boston Police report a man was shot outside 45 Bellevue St. around 7 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The scene is less than a half mile from where a knife fight ended with four stabbed.
