Boston Police report arresting a Hyde Park man with a gun after he allegedly stuck up somebody who'd just made a withdrawal at a Citizens Bank ATM at 572 Columbia Rd. around 1:25 a.m. on Friday.

Police say the victim flagged down a passing C-11 cruiser and described the suspect, clad in a hoodie and pajama pants:

Citizens Bank this week sued the armored-car company that shuttles money to and from its branches and ATMs to make the company keep doing that until the bank can fully replace it.

In its suit, filed in US District Court in Boston, Citizens said Garda Atlantic had threatened to stop all its service today, a move that would have left "thousands of individuals and small businesses" unfairly without access to their money.

Around 10:30 a.m., a man with a cane walked into the Citizens Bank branch at 6 Ave. de Lafayette, gave a teller a note demanding money and got some. Police suspect the cane was a prop because he ran out of the bank. He's white, about 5'10" and wearing a blue jacket that says "US Polo Association" on the back.

A man with no front teeth tried holding up the Citizens Bank branch at 572 Columbia Rd. in Uphams Corner around 10:30 a.m., but fled without any money He's also described as black, in his 40s, about 5'10" with a slim build and wearing a white polo shirt.

Citizens Bank branch at 40 Summer St., around 9:40 a.m. Police report the suspect is a black man in his 20s, 5'8" to 5'10", wearing a black scally cap, a white short-sleeved shirt with a black checkerboard pattern, gray pants and black shoes.

The Citizens Bank branch at 6 Ave. de Lafayette was held up shortly after 9 a.m. by a black man, about 5'7" and thin, wearing a black knit Patriots cap and a gray dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

The Citizens Bank branch, on Boylston at Arlington, was robbed around 3:50 p.m., by a white man, about 5'6" and wearing a multicolored scarf in which blue and gray predominated. He also wore a greenish-gray jacket. He showed a black handgun.

Police are looking for a "Middle Eastern" man who held up the Citizens Bank branch inside the Citizens Bank tower at 28 State St. shortly after 9:40 a.m. The suspect was wearing a black leather jacket and black leather pants, with a yellow shirt under the jacket.

Boston Police tweet they are looking for somebody who held up the Citizens Bank branch at 2343 Washington St.

He's described as black, wearing all black clothes with a stocking cap over his face. He fled on foot.

Boston Police report arresting a man on charges he tried to rob a Citizens Bank branch in Dudley Square today - six years after he was arrested for robbing a Citizens Bank branch downtown.

SuspectBoston Police report they are looking for a woman who held up the Citizens Bank branch at 28 State St., downtown, around 12:30 p.m. yesterday.

Police say the woman gave a teller a note saying she had a gun and that she wanted all the money in the drawer.

She's described as white, with black hair and about 5'4" tall. She was wearing sunglasses, a cream-colored shirt and light blue pants. And at least in the photo, she sure looks like her due date is imminent.

John Daley writes that customer service at Sovereign Bank is terrible:

... Citizens has a well deserved reputation for great service. Sovereign, in my experience anyway, has been appallingly bad.

John, meet Mike Mennonno, who might might beg to differ about the quality of customer service at the green bank after the work the bank put him through to withdraw $25 after he lost his ATM card.

Of course Citizens Bank sent Spatch's new debit card to his old address and of course when he called up to find out what was up, they cancelled not only that card but his current one as well, which of course he only discovered when he tried to pay for dinner:
