A roving UHub videographer managed to snag a bit of video yesterday of Will Ferrell as a ghost counseling Ryan Reynolds as Scrooge on Marshall Street downtown (that cobblestoned alley near the Union Oyster House0 for "Spirited," a musical telling of Dickens's Christmas classic.
Marshall Street, that little bit of ye olde Boston behind the Union Oyster House, is blocked off again today for filming of "Spirited," a retelling of "A Christmas Carol" with Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer. Reynolds was last in town a couple years ago to film "Free Guy" - a movie in which he played a video-game character.
