Atlas Kebab and Grill, coming soon

A Walpole man is getting ready to open Atlas Kebab and Grill at 37 Bridge St., in Dedham, where the Subway used to be, across the street from Moseley's on the Charles and just over the river from Spring Street in West Roxbury.

The Dedham select board approved Mohammed Ouknouz's request for a food-serving license on Jan. 21.

Bonapita moving into a location on Spring Street in West Roxbury

Bonapita, a Downtown Crossing place that features Mediterranean pita sandwiches served fast, has begun outfitting the old Burger Fi place on Spring Street for its second outlet.

The former Burger Fi at 77 Spring St. is also a former diet-burger place and a former Finagle-a-Bagel.

The owners of the Fan Pier development said today they'll be leasing space to a Starbucks, a Mediterranean meze restaurant and a daycare center.

The Starbucks, which will take 2,100 square feet, will join existing starbucks at the Manulife Financial building, the Renaissance Harbor Hotel and the Westin Boston Harborfront. It's slated to open this summer, according to the Fallon Company, which is building out Fan Pier as a mixed-use complex.
