Live Boston reports a man walking on Storrow Drive early this morning was hit and killed by a driver who kept on going - but who was followed by another driver to a Lynn apartment building, where State Police arrested him on charges of motor-vehicle homicide and OUI - after he allegedly blew a .119 on a breath test more than two hours after the crash.

Nothing does a storrowing quite like the Fenway/Kenmore exit off Storrow Drive - the curve means trucks catch the bottom of the upper ramp at an angle, so not only are they peeled open, they're left at quite the jaunty angle. The truck in those photos belongs to Gourmet Catering in Forest Hills, so you'd think the driver would be familiar with the reason to stay off Storrow, but maybe he's new.

State Police report they are hunting roughly 40 people on dirt bikes and ATVs they say began attacking an 82-year-old Brookline man near the Bowker Overpass, then kept following him as he tried to escape onto Storrow Drive and then beat him when he rolled down his window on Cambridge Street in Allston to yell for help this past Thursday night. State Police report a Northampton man, 24, died in a single-vehicle crash on the ramp from the Sumner Tunnel to Storrow Drive around 3:20 a.m.
His two passengers, 22 and 18, were taken to nearby Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries, State Police say. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
A federal judge today ordered a sentence longer than requested by prosecutors for a Dorchester man who led state troopers on a chase when one tried pulling him over in his Focus for excessive window tint on Storrow Drive and ended when he crashed into two cars in Chelsea on Aug. 10, 2018. Rosabri Mejia came across the latest example of a truck driver disobeying the "CARS ONLY" signs on your finer Storrow Drive entrances and so getting caught by a bridge, in this case, the Longfellow. Judges give this storrowing low marks, because while the driver wedged himself in well enough to back up traffic, he did not majorly sardine-can his roof or spill any of his load on the road.
