Brian D'Amico and Mark Parkinston report a man was shot in the chest and shoulder shortly before midnight at 50 Tufts St. in Charlestown. He was conscious when transported to Mass. General.

Around 11 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to Frazer and Lewiston streets to find three cars with bullet holes. Police found spent shell casings, but no injured people.

Shortly before 11 p.m. on Logan Way. Suspect is described as a black man, stocky, 5'6" and wearing a red cap and a red-striped shirt. He was seen fleeing toward Andrew Square and might be bleeding himself. Boston Police report the victim is expected to survive.

Five men, including a particularly and allegedly hapless South Boston man, were arraigned today on charges they tried to use the Internet to sex up Boston cops posing as either underage or legal-age prostitutes, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
