Ice-cream truck at Millennium Park

An ice-cream truck pulled into the upper parking lot at Millennium Park in West Roxbury today. The driver sold a few cones from his truck, still bereft of any stickers, then drove off.

A Pittsfield woman who claims she was shocked to learn that Breyers Delights Vanilla Bean Low Fat Ice Cream is not, in fact, made with vanilla beans, is now seeking more than $5 million in damages for herself and all other Massachusetts residents who should be similarly outraged at the alleged deception. Herrell's, in the bucolic city of Northampton (started by Steve Herrell, yes, that Steve, and his wife) reports several incidents in which people got so, so mad when they were told to put on a mask or to take their cone to go - one even threw the cone at the server when told they couldn't eat it inside.

The left wall in the bowling alley at Ron's Gourmet Ice Cream and Bowling in Hyde Park has featured a large cartoon-like cutout of a guy bowling for several years now. Nancy Glazer Pearl, who does social media for Ron's, found the actual Mike, and his pal Bill, at the lanes the other day.
