Hyde Park pool shut after Covid-19 case

DCR reports it closed the Olsen Swimming Pool on Turtle Pond Parkway yesterday after learning somebody associated with the pool - who had last been there yesterday - had tested positive for Covid-19.

The pool and its grounds will be "deep cleaned and sanitized," DCR said, adding it does not know when the pool will re-open.

Turtle Pond in Stony Brook Reservation was completely still in the fog this morning. From the dock on the parkway side of the pond, you could barely make out the dock on the other side; the trees there cast a dark gray reflection on the water.

Jerk on an ATV ruins Hyde Park ball field

This morning, Scott Isaacs got to Kelly Field on Turtle Pond Parkway to find some jerk on an ATV destroyed the field overnight.

Probably same jerks tearing up the Stony Brook trails for a year. Sent photos of them to MassDCR, but no result.
