Confrontation at Kingston Stop & Shop

The Patriot Ledger reports shoppers at the Kingston Stop & Shop tackled a man this afternoon after he allegedly began spitting on produce. Police arrested him, the store informed him he was no longer welcome and, as you can see in the video, Marty the Robot whirled around and beeped uselessly, frustrated he could not continue his search for fallen lettuce leaves because of the confrontation.

Local Trader Joe's remain open, but stores are limiting how many people they'll let in at a time - as one person exits, another one from the line outside is let in.

At the Hingham store this morning, the manager got on a bullhorn to alert shoppers to a two-per-thing limit, except on produce, which he pleaded with them to buy, as Geminiluvin shows: Read more.

The Massachusetts Appeals Court today upheld a South Shore man's conviction for possession of child pornography after determining that even though a girl in a photo on his computer had a sheer lingerie top on, she was "unclothed" for the purposes of the state law aimed at protecting minors from sexual exploitation through the production and distribution of child pornography. Hull commuter ferry to Long Wharf

I took this photo with my phone as I waited on the gangway for the 6 a.m. commuter ferry from Hull to Long Wharf. It is a photo of the boat house from which rowers from the Hull Lifesaving Museum launch their boats every Saturday morning.

Who knew that Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeahs Yeahs was from Sharon, Massachusetts (SPOILER ALERT: I did)? And who knew that Zinner traveled to South Africa (!!!), joined a band called Africa Express (!!!!), and has left the South Shore in his dust. Talk about a glow up.
