The Boston Licensing Board today approved plans for the operators of a Quincy restaurant to open an outlet on Border Street near Decatur Street that hopes to attract both East Boston residents and a growing community of Eastie restaurant workers who'd prefer to cap their nights near home rather than across the harbor. Around 10:40 p.m. on Friday, victim found on Border Street near Maverick Street. Injuries not considered life threatening.
NBC Boston reports the body was recovered from Boston Harbor off Border Street after it was called in around 10:45 a.m.

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters were able to rescue a worker who got trapped inside a 10x30 barge in the water off Border Street, near the Umana Academy. The man was rescued shortly after 8:45 a.m. and handed over to EMS for transport to a local hospital.
