Boston Police report officers responding to reports about fireworks on Astoria Street in Mattapan yesterday evening found two cars with fireworks piled atop and in them.
Live Boston reports the person was shot shortly before 9:20 p.m. on Astoria Street near Elizabeth Street.
Around 11:10 p.m. outside 62 Astoria St. A second person was shot in the shoulder and leg.
Boston Police report the murder victim was a man in his 30s.
There were so many witnesses, from a nearby cookout that police had to request two T buses to transport them to police headquarters for interviews.
