A man was arraigned yesterday on charges he ended a fight by opening fire on a group of people watching fireworks early on July 5th on Stonehurst Street in Dorchester, killing one of them, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports - adding the man's sister was charged with witness intimidation charges in the case. Boston firefighters responded to 12 Stonehurst St. around 8:15 p.m. for what turned into a three-alarm fire that burst through the house's roof before it was brought under control, the Boston Fire Department reports. Read more.
Around 11:20 p.m., at Topliff and Stonehurst streets One victim was found on Stonehurst between Topliff and Norton. The second was found on Norton Street, near Speedwell.
A car was also hit.
