The year in Storrowing: 2021
By adamg on Sun, 12/26/2021 - 1:14pm
2021 was a peak year for storrowing. Drivers were back on the roads and once more ignoring the "CARS ONLY" signs bouncing off the cabs of their trucks. It was a great year to capture the screeeeeeech of metal being peeled back and, for the lucky few, like Matthew Christensen, to witness the truly sublime: A truck peeled back and tilted precariously on its side after its driver tried the Kenmore exits.

I'd love to rig up something to auto-capture such a video on Storrow, but it would be expensive and tricky. Maybe ultrasound to detect an overheight-truck approaching and turn on the high-speed camera, then a noise burst sensor + a timer to end the capture period? But it would have to sit out in all weather and be at risk of theft.
