Seth Butler took and forwarded this photo of a "totally destroyed 'vette around 1 a.m. today. Happened at Comm. Ave. and Exeter. No word on the condition of the driver.

There are some idiotic places to drag race in Boston...
...but Comm Ave in the Back Bay has to be one of the most idiotic, especially with the number of pedestrians around there. Between the drunks stumbling off Newbury and Boylston Sts, and the waiting-for-Darwin types who walk blindly into traffic wearing iPod earbuds or yakking on cellphones, it's hard to avoid them when you're driving under the speed limit.

this actually happened at Comm Ave and Exeter. I saw 2 older people being wheeled out on stretchers. I didn't see any teens.
verification
I was the person who called 911 for the crash...a porsche and corvette racing on exeter, vette crashed into house on corner of exeter and comm. A woman on a bicycle got severely injured by the street light the car knocked over. 2 people in the corvette, I got there and the driver was stuck in the car.
