Four-alarm fire ravages Allston triple decker

The Boston Fire Department reports a fire at 110 Chester St. broke out around 4:30 a.m. and forced 8 people into the street.

One firefighter received a shock when an electrical cable to the building broke away from the building, the department says.

The cause of the fire, which did an estimated $500,000 damage, is still under investigation, the department says.
