Every week I roll my big-ass blue recycling bin to the edge of the
sidewalk in front of my house. The recycling truck stops in front,
a guy gets out, rolls the bin onto the road. The truck automatically
emties my bin and deposits it in the same spot, on the road in front
of my house.

You would think the recycling guys would push the now empty bin back
onto the sidewalk. Nope. They leave it right there in the middle of
the road.

Okay okay, so perhaps the guy should move it back onto his property
when he gets home later that day. Buts its not him that put it there
in the first place, I can assure you that.

I mean, I know they get trash removal three times a week and all, but is one of those days on a weekend? If so, then, yes, your theory makes sense.

Trash pickup in the North End happens Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Recycling is picked up Friday morning. If it's out on the weekend, they're doing it wrong.
