Two-alarm fire in Jamaica Plain

The Boston Fire Department battled a two-alarm fire that broke out around 1 p.m. at 110 McBride St. Smoke was reported coming from the roof; firefighters found fire in the basement.

used to live in the downstairs unit of that building at 108. wasn't aware that place had a basement. 110's upstairs

I used to live at 110 Mcbride. The basement had a dirt floor and a lot of old junk stored in it, including wood debris. It was little more than a crawl space. I had great times at that place--sorry to hear it burnt down.
