The Watershed Post reports the equally destructive, bright green bugs suddenly appeared in Ulster County, NY - which borders the Hudson - last month, basically leapfrogging most of Pennsylvania.
Perhaps most of Pennsylvania, but certainly not all of it. The infestation is quite serious in the Pittsburgh area, leading to quarantines, and certainly something New England does not need on top of the ALB.
I think the Ash borer is already here in Mass. I don't know if it's the Emerald Ash Borer, but it's some kind of ash borer. There are lots of dying ash trees in the Maynard/Stow area.
