Imagine a Miss America who keeps kosher

Turns out our entrant in the Miss America pageant next week is an Orthodox Jewish Harvard grad from Brookline. Should Loren Galler Rabinowitz win the crown, she'd be the first Jewish Miss America since 1945. The Forward reports.

but there will be complications, not from diet but from all that comes with it. One of my Orthodox Jewish relatives had to forgo a promising musical performance career due to the scheduling restraints of an Orthodox lifestyle.
