Whatsamatta? Do you own shares in Salmagundi? Maybe you wove the straw in that hat yourself?

Or maybe you're just another one of the salt-and-pepper 90s leftovers still clinging to fests full of nobody and front-yard record sales as bastions of "cool." Bet you loved that Phoenix 100-Best '90s Britpop Bands cover story this week, huh? Or maybe you thought it was weak because it didn't feature some obscure act you "discovered" during that mind-blowing semester "abroad" in London where you didn't have to speak another language the entire time!

It's OK. Just keep dumping those CD copies of REM's Monster or the Third Eye Blind and Matchbox 20 albums you never told anyone you owned. It'll be OK. People TOTALLY love black-jeaned, black-tshirted, black-rimmed, waxed-moustached old guys at the show.

There's nothing remotely sad about them at all.

Always on guard, constantly having to reload your snark cannons. Don't your arms get tired after awhile?

going through Pierce's old CDs at Boomerang and flipping past the Natalie Imbruglia and Fastball to get to an old Seaweed disc. Why do you make us work for it, man? And how did you fit them all in the stroller's cargo net?

Anyone know where I can get a T shirt of the event? I like the logo - we used to see the white squirrel on our commute.

We sold out of the small and mediums at the event, but still have a handful left of the larger sizes. Hit up [email protected] to see what we have left!

I brought one home and our youngest, a teen, who did not go immediately claimed it. He's not a big t-shirt guy, but this suits his sartorial fancy.

We totally had Gordon Gano an everything. Who knows? Maybe next year we can get Lee Renaldo of Sonic Youth on board and be on par with Hoboken's Art and Music Fest for best retro/hyperlocal fest of the year!

Can't you just let us losers have our fun? If you think its pathetic, then go do whatever amazing thing you fill your hours with and leave us alone.

What compels you to come here and spew your sanctimonious negativity everywhere?

Alot of people had alot of fun on Saturday. You may want to go to your safe place and ponder what about that is making you so angry.....

That didn't sound negative to me. Seriously, the HOB gets Freedy Johnston, Television, Richard Hell, Joan Jett and, in other years, Alex Chilton to play. How is anything featuring Lee Ranaldo an insult?

read his post further up-- i couldn't see this as anything but sarcasm after that. Maybe I'm wrong.

And so did all the hardcore fans in the double wides. Who needs the Wiggles?
