A roving UHub photographer was surprised this morning to see a Rolls in the Mul's and Amrheins parking lot in South Boston.

god that is an ugly
god that is an ugly beast..... Rolls Royce's aesthetic has really fallen the last decade or two.

If it's new, it's a BMW-Rolls. And yeah, the Edsel had nothing on that beast.

To each his own, I guess. I think they look great in person, and the interiors are amazing. The build quality is nothing short of spectacular.
Of course, I like my luxury cars to be boxy and tank-like. The old Lexus LS400 is a good example.
Sports sedans are another matter, though. Audi has surpassed BMW on that front, looks-wise.
It is all opinion, of course.

Yeah- not a good looking car.
Not Where I Expected

I wonder
What the insurance bill is on the beast?
Might be someone I know
I know someone in Milton who drives a Rolls, so it just might be his. It got towed once and I gave him a ride to Pat's Towing in Somerville to get it back. Needless to say he was pretty happy to have it out of their hands and back into his.
He plays a tuba so I think part of the appeal of the Rolls is that it's one of the few "sedans" that can carry a tuba in the back seat :-)
To which the Rolls owner replied...
"and at these prices, you never will again"
Thank you, thank you, I'm here in perpetuity!
