Well, the Aquarium is
Well, the Aquarium is missing. For the second, perhaps the Commonwealth Museum, for the anthro/archeological collections? I don't really know.
Oh, those are good choices, too
I was thinking of the Mass. General Ether Dome and the Warren Anatomical Museum at Harvard Medical School.
re-animator
Right! I love the ether dome. Makes me feel like I'm in a horror movie.
Accessing the Ether Dome
There is a speaker box that goes to the nearest security office where they have a camera feed of the door/room with a switch that unlocks the door for you.
It actually totally adds to the creep factor. But I could really feel like I was there watching a new surgery being performed there. It was...ethereal.
There's a great guided tour of Beacon Hill using a video/audio app on your iPhone and one of its stops is the Ether Dome. Search the app store for "Walking Cinema: Murder on Beacon Hill". At $5 it is totally worth it. One of the most original uses for the iPhone. But the app has lots of video so it is large (700 MB).
