Federal judge dismisses lawsuit over city Segway restrictions

NorthEndWaterfront.com gets the scoop: Basically, limits on Segway tours are not a matter under federal laws on discrimination against the disabled. Also, the lawsuit by Boston Gliders failed to prove any other issues for a federal court.

The city council banned Segways from public parks and sidewalks last June. Boston Gliders currently faces a hearing in Boston Municipal Court on all the citations it's racked up for allegedly violating the ordinance - under which the city was supposed to come up with acceptable in-street routes, but has yet to do so.
