Police say they caught Dot teens blue and gray handed
Boston Police report nabbing five Dorchester teens and a 20something on charges of tagging a beachfront boardwalk and drinking in public.
"No, No one here is spray painting we are just drinking," one of the six allegedly told officers who promptly notice a can of spray paint just sitting there on Denny Street.
Two teens, with gray and blue paint on their hands, were charged with willful and malicious destruction of property. Two were charged with being minors in possession of alcohol. A 22-year-old was charged with drinking in public. The sixth teen was given a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol
Police say officers noted "graffiti type spray paintings" on the sidewalk, boardwalk pillars, a bench and a trash can.
