When does Matsuzaka come back?

What was it Valentine said a couple weeks ago about reaching bottom?

Was actually against the Crawford signing. Before he was for it.

And just like any failure that Obama and company have seen in the last three years being Dubya's fault, this whole thing can be blamed on Theo.

We're really going to ask "When's Matsuzaka coming back" after five years of "He's not worth what we paid for him, "He doesn't put in the work" or "He can't adjust to the American game?" Really?

While we're at it, let's start talking about the gyroball again. Why not throw together a quick comparison of him and Hideo Nomo at similar stages in their careers?

Matsuzaka... please. He's the convenient excuse. When Bobby V doesn't spin straw into gold and turn Dice K into Pedro, it'll be the reason that "reasoned" fans cite for joining the throngs calling for Valentine's head.

With this Sox roster, guys coming back aren't the answer. Players need to get shipped, and soon. Nobody will touch Lackey, Crawford, Ellsbury or Youk, but they're worth offering. Try to ship Buchholz before he turns into Phil Hughes. Move Beckett while he has value.

Build around Pedroia and Lester and hope Middlebrooks, Lavarnway, Bard, Anderson and Iglesias can produce sooner than later.

People must be wondering if the Red Sox will win a game for the whole month at the rate they're going. But earlier in the year, the Patriots didn't win a single game in the month of February. So there is a precedent.

I know, he's such a terrible player, coming in 2nd as MVP. That's the first loser.

BTW, I have this bridge I'm looking to sell, would you be interested?

ellsbury had a great season LAST YEAR! the year before that he was out for six months with broken ribs. he did come in second for the MVP though, just like mike greenwell did once.

blow this team of spoiled, heartless, no balls, malcontents up.

has anyone noticed the ticket prices have dropped as fast as the sox place in the standings? you can buy 5 dollar tix on the stubhubs and other "ticket broker" sites. i personally havent been to a game in 3 years. i went every year for thirty but i just couldnt take the pinkhats, the "renovations" and the prices any longer. its bad enough how cramped the seats are but if you leave your seat it takes 30 minutes to get a beer or use the bathroom because they have filled every inch of space with some stupid pavillion, fan fest, or other money grabbing thing they can think up. dont get me wrong i love fenway but enough is enough.

this teams is lucky if they finish third, fourth if mariano rivera comes back in time to help NY.

flush the toilet twice on this group.

Ellsbury's been severely injured and has missed significant time in two of the last three seasons including this one. Given the surprise the Yankees got with Pineda, you're telling me that some team's going to take a shot on Ells knowing he's this fragile?

I'm guessing that bridge you're selling ain't too sturdy, either? Is it the Tobin?
