AlertNewEngland reports the Square One Mall is shut as an FBI bomb technician inspects an item inside the mall.

UPDATE, 1:10 a.m. - Thing X-rayed, not harmful, mall to re-open.

At best someone wasn't thinking after buying a new pressure cooker and disposing of the old broken one. Just as likely some *censored* needs to be read the meaning of "funny", then taken out back and beaten with a rubber hose.

kinda wish it was a bomb (where no one got hurt of course) cuz have you been to the square one mall lately? ummmmm a bomb going off might IMPROVE the mall.
