Whew
Good thing the emergency plan for thunderstorms tonight is to get to the lowest point of Storrow Drive!
I would say this made me "LOL
I would say this made me "LOL" but I think chortling is a more accurate description of my response. A+.

Maybe they're under the impression that there is a 3 day weekend coming up and they're stocking up for that.
Or... you know.. they're at
Or... you know.. they're at the store to buy food for their 4th of July festivities, regardless of the storm / no storm state.
Grocery stores?
Don't you mean lines at the packie?
OLD TELETYPES ONLY HAD
CAPITAL LETTERS STOP THEY DID NOT HAVE PUNCTUATION EITHER STOP IF YOU ARE OVER A CERTAIN AGE YOU CAN EASILY BRING TO MIND THE DISTINCTIVE CLACK CLACK AS THE TELETYPE BANGED OUT A WEATHER MESSAGE STOP

Try doing on the fly morse
Try doing on the fly morse code transcription of NWS teletype. I don't think they even teach it in USCG radioman school anymore, sadly.
Morse is dead
What's worse in my opinion: not teaching navigators how to use a sex tent any more.
Seems straightforward
Seems pretty easy. The tent comes with printed instructions for setup, the rest should just come naturally.
The worst part is
You spelled the navigational aid right, and it was autocorrected as displayed above. Not only is the real thing that obsolete (and I recently mentioned I wanted to learn how to use one) but the software is all sorts of kinky.
Can't blame autocorrect
It's not autocorrect's fault; I spelled it that way on purpose, because I'll do anything for a cheap laugh.
I spent enough time
in the radio room of a destroyer to hear that perfectly.
NWS weather reports...
...are always in a caps.
the weather keeps getting
the weather keeps getting worse and worse. good thing im a pessimist and prepared to have it pour this evening and ALL DAY tomorrow anyway. ;)
