The Globe has long advocated for more low-income housing and sympathy for illegal aliens. As thousands of illegals cross the border freely these days, it would be a fitting legacy to build a nice, Cabrini-Green style high-rise for them there, perhaps named for a Winship or Taylor.

Nah, the state should redistribute the land via eminent domain for UMass Boston dormitories so the people can get a good lodging and education at a fair price.

Aren't you advocating for more low income housing in medford? Put your money where your mouth is - have a housing project built next door to you, and maybe people will listen to you when you demand a housing project to be built next door to them.

That site happens to be in an area full of honest working folks who don't agree with globe's poverty pimping. Those high-rises belong in ritzy W suburbs, next door to all the bleeding hearts.
