I do not understand why the Captain would Tweet the address of the vandalizm VICTIM as opposed to the address of the perpetrator.

I saw somebody do this once on a porch in Somerville, and I called it in. I saw the fire flare up as I went by, and saw the guy dump in leaves and paper that looked like globe directs and junk mail. Took the FD only about 2 minutes to get there from around the corner. The guy heard sirens, poured water on it, stomped it, and then got in a car and left (and I got make, model, and plate on that). FD told me that it had started to get under the metal siding and start the wooden stuff smoldering on the porch - if I hadn't called them, it could have flared later. About 30 people in the building and the ones next to it. Sick.

My kids were pretty freaked out when the Somerville detectives beat me to my house (I was on my bike).
