Spring busting out in Somerville

Roving UHub photographer Pat Quintin photographed the tulips on Joseph Street in Somerville, adds it looks like they were a bit too late to revive the bicycle on the left side of the photos.

So many buried and abandoned bicycles

all over Cambridge and Somerville. The local bike shops will make a killing getting these back into rideable shape once the snow melts.

More likely the cheapskates

More likely the cheapskates that abandoned them will ruin more perfectly good bikes leftover from mom/dad's garage through similar neglect or buy a BSO from a big box retailer.

People treat way too many durable things these days as disposable commodities.

As impressive as the artwork is the mere fact that there's still enough white(ish) snow to serve as a canvas.
