A Bedford man with a Santa cap in his back pocket walked down Sciarappa Street Friday night, smashing the side mirrors on cars, Cambridge Police report.
Police say officers caught up with William Kleschinsky, 27, on Binney Street, and charged him with 24 counts of malicious destruction of property, one count for each mirror they say he damaged.
Innocent, etc.

Suburb-like
In the rich brat suburb I grew up in kids used to drive around and do this to mailboxes with a baseball bat, just breaking everything on a street for the fun of it. Seems like our suburban pathologies have migrated to the city.
You grew up in Derry Maine?
You grew up in Derry Maine? Did you and your friends per chance go looking for 'The Body' ? See any clowns on the way?? You seem so familiar
Suburban perp
The guy is from Bedford, which is not a Boston neighborhood.
Neither is Cambridge.
It is a neighbor to but not a neighborhood of.
Boston does not exist in a vacuum
and it doesn't have a hard border and wall surrounding it. Same with the massive suburban sprawl that surrounds it. I grew up in the city. I've always considered Boston and the surounding cities and towns to be interconnected. No onebats an eyelash going from Boston into Cambridge, Somerville, Quincy, or any other surrounding city or suburban town.
Congrats for growing up in a
Congrats for growing up in a 'rich suburb.' Wealth has nothing to do with it, however. I grew up in a blue collar, working class suburb and teens would also drive down streets whacking mailboxes with bats.
