Wait, knuckleballers feel like they have to take PEDs?

Apparently so, although possibly not intentionally.

As I understand it, it's pretty commonly used to help accelerate healing. With the chronic knee issues he's facing, he probably thought it was worth the risk. Same type of thing Andy Pettitte got caught taking.

Maybe he is taking it to get jacked just for the sake of being jacked? Lots of gym bros take PEDs even though they don't play sports.

That's true, but this guy is a professional pitcher, not a gym bro.

Knuckleballers who are still trying to come back from being seriously injured when their previous skippers foolishly use them as pinch runners.

He’s an athlete, he should be able to run bases without getting hurt. It’s max 360 feet, people talk like pitchers have to run a marathon. It’s unfortunate the American League has the DH in the first place. The National League is so much better.

You're going to hate it when the NL adds the DH- it's coming in the next season or two.

Yeah.

The automatic out every time through the batting order is so much better because strategy.

Ok, remember that when the Sox play a four hour, 9 inning game, those automatic outs would speed stuff up. Also remember they like to "bunt" in the NL too. (You AL people might not know what that is) Bunts/sacrifices speed up the game.
