Boston-provided electric rates going up, but still lower than Eversource's

Eversource sucks.

Still trying to get them to cough up the rebate they owe us for the heat pump system and to stop billing us for "projected" gas usage and read the damn meter when we have stopped using our gas furnace.

City does the negotiation on behalf of all their residents, residents get lower rates. What's not to love?

I live in Somerville and we've opted into the "100% renewable" option, which costs a little extra but helps incentivize new renewables development in New England.
