There are some terrific shots of the actual Pru plaza in 1968 in the original "Thomas Crown Affair". It looked great. Fortunately no trashy people like the ones in this video are seen.

that very short clip doesn’t make clear exactly what’s going on. If I saw it without framing I’d assume they were getting chastised for using so much mask cream without paying. The text and voice-over imply a particular narrative but is there a longer clip that is more conclusive?

Always possible that things are taken out of context but behavior like this has been seen in other places.
Assuming it's accurate, according to this TikTok which apparently replicates the video posted on Twitter, Sephora responded denouncing the behavior.

…there’s no additional evidence in that article - it simply recounts the video’s text and narration, and quotes second hand comments from viewers.
I don’t see Sephora’s extremely non-specific “denunciation” as confirmational - to me it reads like what one would expect from a butt-covering corporation regardless of the details.
The rest of the linked article goes on to decry the behavior of young girls at stores like this not because of racist shenanigans, but economic ones - abusing sample privileges and staff good-will.
I’m not saying that racist teenagers don’t exist, or that these weren’t an example of such, but I am worried that it’s not just obviously reactionary/rightist sources that are trying to make us knee-jerk, uncritical consumers of “otherism” these days.

I’m not. I’m not making escalating requests, not moving goalposts. The dozen seconds or so of video is clearly edited in several places - I asked if there was more raw footage. Anons claimed so but I spent a good chunk of time and cant find it (and apparently neither can you or the other people my question is upsetting). The only links provided are just copies of the same article with third party comments on the same few seconds.
I don’t like being manipulated, regardless of whether the people behind the manipulation believe they’re on the side of the angels or not. And claiming “sea-lioning” when someone asks a question in a civil manner is just a way of avoiding legitimate engagement. Go check my uHub posts - you’ll see I’m not pursuing some sort of weird ‘anti-woke’ agenda.

This was circulating on Instagram last week (reliable accounts and longer video). It wasn't even a Sephora employee who called them out. Disgusting behavior by that mom and those teens. Not sure if they were identified though.

Sephora is a welcoming place

I don't wear much makeup, but found myself in need of "business drag" stage makeup for sticking my face in front of a room. I hadn't bought any since the pandemic started and my daughter-out-law recommended Sephora.
I was sort of dazed walking in, but was immediately greeted warmly, listened to, and handed off to someone who really knew how to help me find what I needed. The staff there is great and the place is very welcoming.
I would have found this bullshit intimidating and off-putting, particularly if the staff did nothing and I'm white. I can't imagine how it would repel a black customer to see these little shits and their piece of shit "adult" minder running riot without consequences.

Apparently they were here on their return to Guatemala. Margarita and her disrespectful children are probably safely ensconced in their home country by now. I guess this is one of many reasons why so many people flee from that country.
