Man stabbed two in Porter Square as part of violent rampage on both sides of the river, police say

Cambridge Police report they are looking for a man they say stabbed two people at the Porter Square Shopping Center around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and who they say is "a person of interest in multiple assaults in Boston and Cambridge."

Cambridge Day reports the stabbing happened inside the Halal Guys restaurant.

The victims were taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life threatening, police say.

Halal Guys is a sizable, international chain. Apparently they started as a food cart in NYC and still operate a bunch of the street carts there.

Food isn't bad but I prefer the local versions of the concept. (Chicken and Rice Guys, etc.)

They started as food carts right at the Midtown Hilton on 6th Ave in NYC, 2-3 blocks north of Rock Center / Radio City.

The food was better before the commercialization but it's still decent now.
