Second man charged with September mass shooting in Franklin Field development

A man was ordered held in lieu of $2 million bail today on charges he joined with another man in a bullet barrage that sent five people, two children, 14 and 11, on Ames Street to the hospital last September, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Boston Police report arresting Micah, 25, at 35 Ellingwood St. on Mission Hill shortly before 3 p.m. yesterday.

Ennis was arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court with five counts of armed assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm, the DA's office reports.

Police had arrested Gianni Johnson on similar charges in October. He has been held in Suffolk County jail since then in lieu of $1 million bail. His trial is currently scheduled for Dec. 2, court records show.
