Man gunned down in Jamaica Plain

Boston Police report finding a 22-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in front of 321 Centre St. around 1:40 p.m. today. He was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he died.
UPDATE: Boston Police identify him as Anthony Perry, 22, of Roslindale and his alleged shooter as Christopher Jamison, 23, of Roxbury. Shaba Olukaga, 19, of Roxbury, was charged as an accessory. The Globe reports Perry was an alleged gangbanger in a beef with a rival gang.

bad stuff
Even without knowing any details -- gang-related, random, or other situation -- it's very disturbing news. How many times have some of us JPers walked around that very area during a given afternoon???
I live right across the
I live right across the street from where that happened. I literally walk past it every day. I didn't even notice the blood on the sidewalk after I parked my car. I went back out and its definitely there- all over the sidewalk. Really sad.

Jamison ordered held without bail
Bail for Olukoga was set at $250,000, the Suffolk County DA's office reports.
