Police dial R for robbery; nab three for afternoon armed holdup

Boston Police report arresting two males and a female around 1:25 p.m. yesterday on charges they stole a guy's wallet and cell phone at gunpoint.

Police say the woman, interviewed at her 23 Greenville St. apartment, initially denied knowing anything about the robbery. An officer then dialed the victim's cell-phone number - and promptly heard a phone ringing in a trash can in her apartment, police say.

The victim said he was talking to Cassandra Selmon outside the building when two guys appeared and demanded his valuables.

In addition to Selmon, Delroy S. Beckford, 17 and Kevin J. Woods, 18, of Roxbury, were charged with armed robbery.
